JOHNSON TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — One person is dead and another is hospitalized with serious injuries after a high-speed head-on crash involving a pair of pickups in Barry County.
It happened at around 3 p.m. Thursday on M-37 in Johnson Township after the northbound vehicle strayed over the centerline.
The at-fault driver was airlifted to Kalamazoo for emergency surgery and treatment. The other driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s not clear what prompted the wreck.
