SOUTH HAVEN MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The pandemic has been responsible for the cancellation of numerous events in the area, as well as the state, but officials in South Haven say they will hold the annual Ice Breaker Festival this year.
The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce says that, despite the number of cases of the virus and its variants increasing, officials will implement measures to maximize the safety of those attending.
The event is set for February 4-6.
Some of the events will include an ice carving contest, a chili cook-off, and the Fish Fling, which is exactly as it sounds…participants will see who can fling a frozen fish the farthest.
