KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A victim of a hit-and-run in Kalamazoo has now died from his injuries.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers have identified the man as 74-year-old Dennis Cronen.
He was found in the roadway near the intersection of East Walnut Street and Jasper Street around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
The vehicle that fled the scene has been recovered and is being processed for evidence by the KDPS Crime Lab, according to the press release.

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are searching for a driver following a hit-and-run that critically injured a man near Bronson Methodist Hospital.
It happened around 7:30 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of East Walnut Street and Jasper Street.
When first responders arrived they found the pedestrian in the roadway suffering from serious injuries. Life-saving measures were performed and the 74-year-old man was taken to the hospital and last listed in critical condition.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white, four door Chrysler sedan, with a mismatched dark front bumper. The vehicle should also have front end damage following the crash.
