VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — A teenager from South Haven could be facing drunk driving and additional charges after she tried to outrun Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies.
It happened before 3 a.m. Sunday.
They say the 18-year-old blew through stop signs and drove in the dark after turning off her headlights. The pursuit ended when the female ducked behind a home and got stuck in the shrubbery.
The driver was booked into the Van Buren County Jail for driving drunk and fleeing and eluding.
A male passenger, 16, was turned over to his parents.
