KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — A mechanical problem is being blamed for a gas leak at an Italian restaurant in downtown Kalamazoo.
It was reported at Mangia Mangia early Monday, forcing fire trucks, ambulances and police cruisers to block off South Kalamazoo Mall at West South Street before 7 a.m.
There were no injuries reported and first responders said they were able to easily resolve the issue.
The incident remains under investigation.
