KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — New Year’s Fest will be back for its 30th year in Kalamazoo on Thursday, providing a non-alcoholic event the whole family can enjoy to welcome in 2016.
It begins with a tuba performance at the Rotary Stage. It ends with fireworks and the ball drop at midnight.
In the hours between, the event is a showcase for local and national artists who perform in a variety of venues centered around Bronson Park.
Thousands attend the event every year.
Advance buttons will be available online, or at Harding’s Friendly Market stores through noon Wednesday for $5. After that, you will can pick one up at the event for $10.
