KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says a vehicle crashed into a building in the 3100 block of South Westnedge Avenue early this morning, with the driver who attempted to flee the area on foot being quickly apprehended by officers.
The mid-sized passenger vehicle struck the business and broke through one of the walls around 12:30 a.m. Thursday. The business was occupied at the time, however there were no reported injuries.
A 26 year old Kalamazoo resident was arrested for the hit and run along with an alcohol related driving offense.
