LANSING, MI — Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and the Better Business Bureau are warning Michiganders of fake COVID-19 testing kits and testing sites.
The BBB has not confirmed any fraudulent testing sites in the state yet, but says they are in other states and are taking people’s credit card and Social Security information. AG Nessel says her office has had an increase in complaints and calls about at-home COVID-19 tests since the onset of the Omicron variant.
