SAULT STE. MARIE, (WKZO) — More words are being added to Lake Superior State’s annual list of overused and misused words.
This year the words “so,” “problematic,” and “manspreading” have been added to the Banished Words List.
Other words that have been added this year include “walk it back,” “break the Internet” and “vaping” which is the use of an electronic cigarette.
They claim the phrases have become trite and overused and should be dropped from your daily vernacular.
Three more words making their list are “stakeholder,” “price point and using the word “presser” to describe a press conference.
Their list is updated every New Years.
