SPRINGFIELD (WKZO-AM) — A Battle Creek man who allegedly burglarized a home on North 12th Street in Springfield was arrested this weekend after the homeowner spotted and identified the suspect.
The homeowner passed the information on to Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputies, who found the suspect on North 15th Street. He was then taken into custody.
They aren’t saying exactly how the victim was aware of the suspect’s identity, but the 43-year-old spent most of the weekend in the Calhoun County Jail awaiting arraignment on a home invasion charge.
Bond has not yet been set.
