KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The 40-year-old sister of two Portage men who were involved in a deadly chase and shootout last May has been sentenced to time served.
Amy Pelletier was released from jail after a judge handed down a 208-day sentence Monday for her resisting and obstructing conviction last year.
Prosecutors say Amy, sister Michelle, and brothers Sean and Aaron ignored an eviction notice filed by their mother to get them out of her home on Raborn Court.
Sean Pelletier was killed in a shootout with police after a pursuit, while Aaron Pelletier was wounded by police gunfire.
Michelle Pelletier was given a similar sentence last November.
