MARSHALL (WKZO-AM) — School trustees from Marshall and Albion held a joint meeting Wednesday night to tweak and shore up their cooperative agreement, as the two districts prepare to merge.
Current plans call for Marshall to annex the Albion system, which has been unable to overcome financial problems because of decreased enrollment.
Issues with bus transportation and other expenses dominated the discussion.
Voters will be asked to approve the annexation in the spring.
