KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo College trustees have selected their choice to replace current President Eileen Wilson-Oyelaren, who is retiring.
They have selected Dr. Jorge Gonzales to be the private college’s 18th president.
He is currently the vice president for academic affairs and dean at Occidental College in Los Angeles.
Board members say he is passionate about the liberal arts and a perfect fit for K-College. His first day on the job will be July 1.
