KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Funeral Services will be held Friday for a Loy Norrix High School senior who was shot to death in his Edison Neighborhood home last week.
From all accounts, 17-year-old Temetrion Hegler was a popular and amiable young man who had hopes of attending Michigan State University in the fall.
He got into an argument with his step grandfather, an ex-convict who allegedly grabbed a gun and shot him in the head.
Bruce Embry, 53, is being held without bond pending a preliminary hearing Jan. 27.
The service, which will be held at the Second Baptist Church on North Rose Street in Kalamazoo, is set to begin at 4 p.m.
