OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Five were arrested, but only one will be charged for the robbery of a pizza delivery driver in a crime prone section of Oshtemo Township this week.
It happened Wednesday night in the 700 block of South Drake Road, where there are a number of apartment complexes. The delivery man was held up by a person with a gun, who took his cash and a pizza.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff Rick Fuller says they executed a felony stop on the car, calling in backup because they knew there might be a gun in the vehicle.
The gun was recovered, and so was the pizza.
Kenneth Mallory has been charged with a gun count and armed robbery. Three other juveniles and an adult in the car were not charged.
