KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM)– A driver is jailed after Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies found marijuana and an improperly-transported handgun during a traffic stop.
A police dog made the find early Sunday, investigators said.
The car was pulled over near South Drake Road near Clayborne Drive, which has become a high-crime area in recent years.
The driver was booked on drug and gun-related charges at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
An arraignment is scheduled for Monday.
