BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A parole violator from Battle Creek who was wanted for burglarizing a building is behind bars again.
After he was named “Fugitive of the Month” by the Battle Creek Police Department, officers received a tip that Michael Elliott II was hiding out in a home on Maxwell Avenue in Emmett Township.
With the assistance of police from Emmett Township, they went in, searched the home and found the Elliott hiding in the attic.
