KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Another person is dead after the Jan. 17 pileup on Interstate 94 near Hartford.
Carol Griesemer, a 78-year-old woman from Northville, was pronounced dead at the scene along with her son, Andrew. But the 54-year-old was revived on the way to the hospital.
However, it has now been revealed that Andrew Griesemer died from his injuries over the weekend at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
The pileup involved 42 vehicles and was blamed on high speeds and white-out conditions.
Michigan State Police are still investigating the incident.
