BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Police need your help to find a robber who flashed a gun at the Citgo gas station in the 2400 block of West Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek.
An unshaven male in his 30s demanded money from a clerk at the business at around 9 a.m. Sunday.
The suspect sped away northbound on Michigan Avenue in a brown Chevrolet Silverado.
The gas station is a familiar spot for crime. It’s the same place where clerk Nicole Gates was stabbed 87 times during a robbery in July 2014. Shawn Pike is serving life without parole for killing the mother of three.
