KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — A Kalamazoo man is facing resisting arrest and a possible felony charge after a three-hour standoff played out early Friday morning.
Police say they were called to a house on Gibson Street by the suspect’s girlfriend because he had a gun and they had been arguing just after midnight Friday morning.
She came out but the 32-year-old suspect identified as Bernard Wogoman holed up in the house.
Officers say they have had 69-contacts with the known gang member, ten involving assaults or confrontations with police officers.
The Metro SWAT team was called in and a negotiator talked him out peacefully.
