BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A woman and her four-year-old are recovering after their SUV slid into an icy swamp east of Battle Creek.
It happened after 7:30 a.m. Thursday as the woman was traveling down North Drive North near 12 Mile Road.
Neither victim suffered serious injuries and both were able to get out of the partially-submerged vehicle before first responders arrived.
Crash investigators think slick roads may have caused the accident.
