CASS COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — Two people are hospitalized after a two-car crash just west of Birch Lake in Cass County.
It happened after 5 p.m. Thursday.
Cass County Sheriff’s investigators say 22-year-old Hayley Rossi of Elkhart was traveling too fast for conditions on southbound Lewis Lake Road when she ran the stop sign at Brownsville Street, striking the vehicle of 74-year-old Hoan Tran of Homewood, Ill.
Both people involved in the wreck were wearing seatbelts. It’s not believed alcohol was a factor in the crash.
