KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — A fire in a unit at Big Bend Apartments just off Gull Road on Kalamazoo’s east side sent tenants out into the bitter cold at about 4 a.m. Sunday morning.
Quick responding fire units were able to contain the flames to a single downstairs apartment.
There were no early reports of any injuries.
Investigators are assessing the damage and looking for the cause.
