BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A parole absconder has been booked into the Calhoun County Jail after police say he was found breaking into cars in the area of Merwood and Emmett streets in Battle Creek.
Investigators say the suspect was found with burglary tools and suspected stolen property in the area at around 12:30 a.m. Monday.
Items were returned to one of the victims after positive identification and crime lab processing.
The man’s name was not released.
