Both of the surviving victims remain in critical condition.
They were all shot at close range with a barrage of bullets. Prosecutor Jeff Getting says investigators found nine to a dozen shell casings at each of the shooting locations.
Governor Snyder has declared that all U.S. and Michigan flags should be lowered to honor the victims of the mass shooting in Kalamazoo for a six-day period beginning on Monday.
“The shootings are a senseless act of violence that claimed the lives of innocent citizens and injured two others,” Snyder said. “We will lower the flags for six days to honor each of the six who died. Our hearts are broken for the victims’ families and friends, and I join in mourning their loss.”
