ORANGEVILLE (WKZO-AM) — A 64-year-old fisherman is being treated for hypothermia after he fell through the ice at Gun Lake State Park.
Barry County Sheriff’s deputies arrived to find the man about 150 yards from shore, with only his head sticking out of the ice.
He was conscious and alert, but unable to free himself from the ice. They say he was submerged for about 30 minutes.
He was airlifted to a hospital for emergency treatment. His name was not released.
