KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Wings fans can help the families affected by the deadly shootings in Kalamazoo by attending the team’s next home game, which will be against the Utah Grizzlies on March 5.
The organization says it will donate $2 from every ticket sold to a collaborative fund established by Kalamazoo and Battle Creek non-profits. The team will also donate the proceeds from a St. Patrick’s Day jersey sale to the same fund.
The K-Wings are hoping to donate at least $10,000. Nearly $5,000 has already been pledged by the Toledo Walleye.
