BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Icy roads are being blamed for a crash that killed a first-grader.
Six-year-old Harlyn Radley was critically injured Wednesday afternoon when her mother’s car slid across the centerline on M-66 south of Glenn Cross Road into an oncoming vehicle. It then struck a third car.
The young girl and her mother, Heather Radley, were both rushed to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, where the child was pronounced dead.
The mother was admitted with serious injuries.
