KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — It’s now possible to take a look at campaign finance reports for candidates and ballot issues online for free.
Candidates and campaign committees are required by law to make periodic financial reports, but until now accessing those reports required a personal visit.
They have contracted with a Detroit firm which specializes in this kind of data delivery.
Kalamazoo County Clerk Tim Snow said citizens can search the candidates, view and even print out the reports.
They are cross-referenced by name, municipality and election date.
