FLINT (WKZO) — As the presidential candidates crisscross the state hunting for primary votes, the eyes of Democratic voters in Michigan will be on Flint Sunday night as Sen. Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton take the stage in the last debate before Michigan’s March 8th primary on CNN.
Clinton took seven Super Tuesday states while Sanders took four.
The Democrats candidates are expected to sling a lot less mud at each other and a lot more at Republicans.
Sanders and Clinton are expected to spend more time blaming Republicans for causing some of the state’s most vexing problems, including the Flint water crisis, and the ongoing problems in Detroit Schools.
Those were issues the Republican candidates brushed over during their debate Thursday.
Ed Sarpolus with Target Insyght says Clinton holds a 22-point lead over the Vermont independent.Sanders is trying to make up ground.
Over 10,000 people attended his Wednesday rally at Michigan State University.
