PARCHMENT (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety says a 19-year-old is jailed after leading a foot pursuit in Parchment.
They say the man, who was visiting his mother at the time, bolted from multiple officers and a police dog on Thursday after they arrived at a house on Random Street to arrest him on outstanding warrants.
Police had the suspect cornered 15 minutes after setting up a perimeter in the neighborhood.
The suspect has not been identified, but investigators said he has a history of leading police chases.
