EMMETT TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A 40-year-old Battle Creek man is behind bars at the Calhoun County Jail after investigators say he committed a strong-armed robbery at a convenience store in Emmett Township.
The heist on Feb. 25 occurred at Duffy’s Party Store on East Michigan Avenue. The suspect was later spotted on surveillance video.
Investigators believe the man was also responsible for multiple instances of retail fraud throughout Calhoun County.
His name has not yet been released.
