CALHOUN COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — Three armed robbery suspects who allegedly stole drugs from Park’s Drug Store in Albion at gunpoint then led police on a wild chase across Calhoun County Saturday morning have been formally charged with armed robbery and fleeing and eluding.
Police say 38-year old Rudolph Bredy and 25-year-old Antonio Nobles-Santana pulled off the actual robbery, while 29-year-old Jasma James kept the getaway car running and did the driving. The chase followed Interstate 94 all the way from Albion to M-66 at speeds in excess of 100 mph.
A Michigan State Police trooper executed a “pit maneuver,” nudging the getaway car into a spin and ending the chase.
Bond for Bredy was set at $500,000. The other two are being held without bond.
