PORTAGE (WKZO-AM) — Portage Public Safety says it’s investigating a suspicious fire that consumed a shed and a pickup in the 1100 block of East Milham Avenue.
Firefighters found the truck and the adjacent structure engulfed with flames when they arrived at the scene before 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators say a split in the vehicle’s fuel tank fed the fire.
Total damage is estimated at $9,000. It’s not clear what started the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
