KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Western Michigan University has unveiled a five-year strategic plan to bring the university to the next level as a learning center and research university.
Dr. Jody A. Brylinsky headed up a team that has been working for months to come up with goals and objectives that have just been approved unanimously by the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees.
The plan has five overarching goals, 24 objectives and 100 high-impact strategies.
Brylinsky said the next step is to take the master plan and get the departments, schools, divisions and organizations to align their separate strategic plans to match, and to develop ways to measure their progress.
