KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Eight people were arrested in Kalamazoo Friday after multiple firearms were seized during an investigation.
In a release, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said the investigation was connected with a home in the 200 block of Whitecomb Street near South Rose Street.
According to the release, police found four loaded pistols, two of which were stolen, along with a stolen AR-style rifle, high-capacity magazines, a stolen semi-automatic pistol, illegal narcotics and evidence of making illegal narcotics at the home.
Authorities say they arrested four minors ranging from 15 to 17 years old and four men, 18 to 33 years old.
The investigating is ongoing.
