OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — They have snipped the ribbon on the new Field & Stream store in Oshtemo.
It’s a shopping center for everything outdoors. The store, which is located next to the Costco on Century Avenue, formally opens this weekend.
Every fish hook is in place, every camo outfit and paddle is ready to go. In fact, they have supplies for just about every kind of hunting, fishing, kayaking and camping expedition you may have in mind.
The 50,000 sq. ft. store is just the 20th to be built in the U.S. and the 2nd in Michigan, making it a “destination store.”
Spokesman Chase McClain said they will have a number of TV celebrities here this weekend, with games, prizes, and opportunities for kids to try archery and cast fishing reels.
The grand opening will begin this Friday at 9 a.m.
