STURGIS (WKZO-AM) — There has been another cemetery desecration in southwest Michigan.
This time, police in Sturgis are looking for the vandals who went into Oaklawn Cemetery over the weekend and destroyed over thirty headstones and grave markers.
Detectives say the vandals also broke into and trashed a small building on the property.
A damage estimate has not been released.

Three teenagers have recently confessed to the damage of 33 grave markers at a Geneva Township cemetery.
