UNDATED (WKZO-AM) — Home prices in Kalamazoo and Portage increased 3.1 percent in February, compared to figures from the same time last year.
Financial information firm CoreLogic said the rate lags the Michigan average of 5.7 percent and the national mark of 6.8 percent.
At 12.4 percent, Washington saw the biggest statewide increase, while Wyoming, West Virginia and Louisiana saw increases of less than one percent.
There were no statewide declines.
The same firm also said January foreclosures were also lower in Kalamazoo-Portage.
