KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The last time we heard from documentary filmmaker Michael Moore, he was demanding the resignation of Gov. Rick Snyder because of the water crisis gripping his hometown of Flint.
On Tuesday, the Oscar-winner will be headlining a free event on the Western Michigan University campus to talk about Flint, his new film and other topics at Miller Auditorium.
It’s the kickoff for a series of discussions being sponsored by the Lewis Walker Institute to discuss issues that affect poor and minority residents.
His presentation, entitled “It Only Hurts When I Laugh,” will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The director and producer of “Roger and Me,” “Bowling for Columbine” and “Fahrenheit 9/11” released his newest film, “Where to Invade Next,” last year.
