STURGIS (WKZO-AM) — A $3,000 reward is now being offered for information leading police to the vandals who caused an estimated $50,000 damage to the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sturgis earlier this month.
The Sturgis Police Department says multiple businesses have come forward to help boost the initial reward from $1,000. Investigators say over 30 headstones and grave markers were reduced to rubble during the incident, some dating back to the 1800s.
