MARCELLUS (WKZO-AM) — Drug enforcement officers in Cass County say four children are in protective custody after they were discovered inside a Marcellus home where two adults were found with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
It happened during the service of a search warrant in the 100 block of West North Street on Wednesday, according to a press release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
The 36-year-old man and the 30-year-old woman were taken to jail on charges of drug possession and maintaining a drug house.
Neither suspect was identified.
It was not outlined in the press release how the children and the adults were related.
