MATTAWAN (WKZO-AM) — The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office says the search of a suspected drug house in Mattawan turned up an active one-pot methamphetamine lab, the finished drug and suspected meth oil.
A gas generator, a scale, a handgun, drug paraphernalia, cash and a pickup was also seized at the residence in the 24000 block of 3rd Avenue. The search warrant was executed at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a press release.
A 22-year-old man, who was at the residence when the search occurred, was jailed on drug-making, drug-dealing and gun-related charges.
