KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — A Mattawan man has been killed in a one-car crash in Texas Township.
Michigan State Police investigators aren’t sure why 74-year-old Daniel Carson left the roadway as he headed westbound on Q Avenue before 4 p.m. Saturday. They say his vehicle slammed into a tree.
Carson was wearing a seat belt, but the violence of the collision killed him at the scene.
First responders had to cut Carson’s body from the vehicle.
