KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — City planners in Kalamazoo want public input on the construction of a sixth roundabout on the east side of downtown.
The proposal is to take the intersection of Harrison Street, Ransom Street and Gull Road near McKenzie’s Bakery and install the traffic feature to make left turns off Harrison safer for drivers.
The informal meeting on the proposal, which is scheduled to start construction in a couple of months, will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 734 Harrison St.
Kalamazoo already has five traffic roundabouts.
