KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo will be a major hub for serious medieval history study this week.
Scholars from all over the world will be convening at Western Michigan University for the 51st Medieval Congress to compare papers on every subject imaginable, witness demonstrations, hear some of the greatest hits of the 14th Century and perhaps take in a play from that era.
Cheryl Roland, a spokesperson for the school, said anyone from the community who wants to attend can do so for free.
Registration is still required, however.
