Kalamazoo firefighters rescue two dogs in Saturday morning blaze

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Firefighters rescued two dogs from a burning home in Kalamazoo Saturday morning.

Authorities say it happened around 6:30 a.m. at a home in the 800 block of Hawley Street and that except for the two dogs, the house was unoccupied.

Fire crews were able to get the flames under control within 15 minutes.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
