KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety says they have been notified by the family of Shelly Apple that she contacted a family member, telling them that she was in Columbia, Tenn.
Public Safety advised local police of her status and followed up with a wellness check. They said Apple appears to be in good shape physically and mentally.

KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety and the family of Shelly Apple need your help to locate her.
They say she has been missing for several days and suffers from mental illness.
Apple was last seen at about 2 a.m. last Wednesday.
She is 42, about 5-foot-6 and 170 pounds. She has blue eyes, wavy brownish red hair and an average build.
She does not have a cell phone and could be driving a 2003 green Volkswagen with the license plate number of DKA7180.
She is a diagnosed schizophrenic who is also bipolar. It’s not clear if she has been taking her medications.
