WAYLAND TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Michigan State Police say they’re looking for the driver that struck a 35-year-old Wayland man as he was pushing his bike along 135th Avenue in Allegan County’s Wayland Township.
The incident occurred west of 6th Street before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The victim was rushed by ambulance to a hospital in Grand Rapids with serious injuries.
Investigators say they’re looking for a red pickup, which continued eastbound after the collision.
It’s not clear if alcohol was a factor.
