PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A parolee from Coldwater,led officers from several agencies on a wild high-speed chase Friday night.
It began in Pennfield Township and did not end until the man in the pickup had gotten all the way to Texas Township on the other side of Kalamazoo along Interstate 94. He fled after Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to pull him over for improper plates.
He was observed tossing things from the truck as he traveled. They are still trying to find and identify those items.
He stopped near Oshtemo at around 7 p.m. After a short foot chase, he was taken into custody.
The 46-year-old is being held on multiple charges in the Calhoun County Jail. He was out on parole on an armed robbery count.
